Urban Kiz Classes

  • Foundations for beginners is a 75-min class series taught by Jennifer. Available as a series for beginners, or individual drop-in classes for intermediate students who want to refresh and hone their skills. Each class includes admission for KizLab following class

    Foundations Syllabus:

    • Class 1: Walking & Lanes, Lead & Follow Saidas

    • Class 2: L-Step, Balance & Virgula

    • Class 3: Door Step

    • Class 4: Switch Step

    • Class 5 Passé & Contrasteps

  • Improvers for intermediate level is a 90-min class series for students who have graduated from Foundations or Levels 1 & 2 or completed equivalent training elsewhere (instructor evaluation may be required to enroll). Each Improvers session dives deep into a technical theme. Available as a series, multi-class package, or individual drop-in classes - more classes = bigger discount! Enrollment in the full 5-class series includes admission to all current session KizLab guided practica sessions.

  • KizLab sessions are drop-in friendly, open-level guided practicas led by Jennifer following Foundations classes and open to everyone. This is an opportunity to practice what you are learning in class, get acquainted with Urban Kiz and our community, ask questions, get brief 1-1 feedback, and experiment! $5 drop-in rate if not included with your classes.

All students are required to join the Class Hub via WhatsApp to get updates from instructors and class recap videos.

Enrollment in a full series entitles students to discounted rates on private lessons booked during the series.
